Anthropic opens Claude Security public beta for Enterprise customers
Claude Security, powered by Claude Opus 4.7, moves from research preview to public beta so Enterprise customers can scan code for vulnerabilities and generate proposed fixes.
What launched: Anthropic said Claude Security is now in public beta for Claude Enterprise customers, according to the company’s blog. The product scans code for vulnerabilities and generates proposed fixes with Claude Opus 4.7, available on the Claude Platform or through partners. Previously known as Claude Code Security, it was tested by hundreds of organizations in a limited research preview, Anthropic said. NewsBytes also covered the Oct. 4 launch.
How it works: Features include scheduled and targeted scans, easier audit integration, and improved triage tracking, with no API or custom agent required for Enterprise Claude users, Anthropic said. Access is through the Claude.ai sidebar or claude.ai/security. The system uses multi-stage validation and confidence ratings; patch instructions can be opened in Claude Code on the Web. Users can export CSV or Markdown and send webhooks to Slack or Jira. Admins enable the product in the admin console. Team and Max customer access is “coming soon,” the blog said.
Partners and prior preview: Anthropic previously made Claude Mythos Preview available to partners under Project Glasswing for elite vulnerability find-and-exploit capability; Claude Security brings Opus 4.7 capabilities to a wider Enterprise set, the company said. Partners embedding Opus 4.7 include CrowdStrike, Microsoft Security, Palo Alto Networks, SentinelOne, TrendAI, and Wiz, with services partners Accenture, BCG, Deloitte, Infosys, and PwC. CrowdStrike said in a press release it is putting Claude Opus 4.7 to work across the Falcon platform and Project QuiltWorks.
Safeguards: Opus 4.7 includes cyber safeguards that block prohibited and high-risk cyber uses; organizations that need those capabilities can join Anthropic’s Cyber Verification Program, the company said.
What this means: Anthropic is packaging Opus 4.7’s security scanning for everyday Enterprise workflows — not only elite partner previews — while keeping high-risk cyber uses behind a separate verification gate.
